My final favourite is not a person, but a place. Hawaii.

Maybe it's because of the Elvis connection, I had wanted to go there since I was a child. Back in 1991 I was fortunate enough to get the chance to go.

Not wanting to miss out on a wonderful opportunity, I went and had two of the best weeks of my life.

I promised myself that I'd go back again when I could and being young and single, I managed to do the whole thing over again two years later, grateful that I am for the chance.

It is truly a place of unbelievable beauty. Although the two main Islands of Hawaii and Oahu are somewhat built up, they are still magnificent. For true unspoilt beauty though, the Island of Kauai is the place to be.

It is the home of the Coco Palms resort where they have a wonderful restaurant where you can eat your meal whilst watching a fire dance directly outside.

The Coco Palms is also the place where the wedding scene was shot with Elvis starring in one of his most famous films, Blue Hawaii.

The scene was of Elvis and his bride floating on a raft down a stream. After a meal in the restaurant, there is nothing more relaxing than a walk around the grounds to see the beauty of the stream and the chapel.

A truly wonderful sight indeed.
